Pen­ta­gram always seems to have their hands in everything.

The world will always feel mun­dane just long enough to make cer­tain moments come off as crazily coin­ci­den­tal. Since we’ve been back and forth so fre­quently to Illi­nois recently, I had been crank­ing through every Roald Dahl audio­book I could get my hands on.

Tokyo (the movie)

I just found this on the Net­flix Watch Instantly about a week ago, so we sat down and watched it. It’s sur­pris­ing how divided peo­ple are about which section/director (trip­tych) was their favorite.

I per­son­ally felt they all had some­thing to offer. The first, directed by Gondry, was the sec­tion I found to be most inter­est­ing. The sec­ond was crazy and dark, while the third was simple.

They are worth watch­ing, and If you must,
scan through the sec­ond one.
